Tina Juretzek

was born in Leipzig in 1952 and studied painting from 1971-78 at the State Academy of Art in Düsseldorf with Prof. Günter Grote.

Since 1984 she has received numerous scholarships, including a Kaiserring scholarship in Goslar in 1984, an Aldegrever Society scholarship in Münster in 1987, a Goethe Institute scholarship in Osaka / Japan in 1991, a Goethe Institute scholarship in Madras/India in 1993 and a working scholarship in Szentendre near Budapest / Hungary in 1996. 

In 1986, it was the official contribution of the Federal Republic of Germany to the 6th Triennale - India in New Delhi. 

In 1983 she was awarded the Jury Prize, Sparkasse Karlsruhe and in 1989 the Bergischer Kunstpreis Solingen.
