In the "Virtual Space Works", Michael Burges dematerializes and delocalizes painting. 

He asks the fundamental questions-what is an image, where is the image?

Because the virtual spatiality of these works is not "real", it arises in our vision.

The first Virtual Space Works were created as early as 2005 - 2008. Successful, but perhaps a little too early for the zeitgeist. In 2024, some 20 "computer years" later, he decided to resume artistic work on this unique and sensational series of works.
