WALTER VOGEL is one of the great contemporary, internationally renowned, photographers of Germany.
The importance of the Düsseldorf photographer lies in his inimitable continuity to remain true to the milieu, to have devoted his passion to analog photography and to appreciate and live the value of the unique hand print to this day. Walter Vogel's strength, however, lies not only in visually capturing everyday life, but also in writing down his experiences. Even as an author, he knows how to convey to the reader his versions and points of view, similar to his pictures, with a lot of humor and the blunt reality. His creative urge to push new book projects and to record his life not only photographically is simply tireless.
